We offer positions for Boat Captains and dock hands. Anyone under the age of 22 can only be hired as a dock hand. All of our Captains must meet the USCG requirements and are certified with a TPWD Boaters safety course. Do not apply unless you have your Boaters Safety Course Completed.
Boat Captain Positions
We offer positions for Boat Captains. Anyone under the age of 23 cannot be a captain. All of our Captains must meet the USCG requirements and are certified with a TPWD Boaters safety course. Do not apply unless you have your Boaters Safety Course Completed.
Compensation
- Starting Pay: $20 / Hour
- Slow Season Est (March – April): 4-12 hrs / week (mainly weekends)
- High Season Est (May – Nov): 8 – 30 hrs / week (Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun)
Season / Schedule
- Semi-Slow Season: March 1 – April 30
- Busy Season: May 1 – Nov 1st
- Winter Season: Lake Austin Lights: Nov 15 – Jan 15th
- Fri/Sun (Next busiest days)
- You can work Weekends only if requested
- Not much captaining work Jan 15th – Feb 28th.
